The foundations of FICA are set on working with vulnerable children. As a result, within the 5 year strategic period of 2017 to 2022, FICA will be working on improving the capacity of vulnerable children as right holders to proactively claim and access their rights by holding duty bearers responsible to fulfil their duties. FICA will also promote increased awareness among duty bearers on their obligations in promoting and providing services to vulnerable populations as part of their duty-bound mandates.
